Advanced agrovoltaic plant with monocrystalline silicon modules on single-axis rotating structures
The advanced agrivoltaic plant under construction in Vetralla (VT) with a power of 4,2 MWp is designed to combine the production of renewable energy with the continuity and enhancement of local agricultural activities. The project involves the installation of high and technologically advanced photovoltaic structures, designed to ensure optimal solar exposure of the modules and, at the same time, the full usability of the underlying agricultural land.
The intervention is designed to integrate harmoniously into the landscape and rural context of the area, in compliance with the territorial, environmental and urban planning regulations in force. Each phase of the construction pays particular attention to environmental sustainability, soil protection and safety, promoting a development model that favors the coexistence of energy production, agricultural activity and land protection.
The main characteristics of the agrovoltaic system are:
POWER: 4,2 MWp
STRUCTURES: single-axis rotating 1P
CULTIVATIONS: alfalfa
EXPECTED PRODUCIBILITY: 7.560.000 kWh/y
POTENTIALLY AVOIDABLE EMISSIONS: 2.344 tons/y of CO2
