Advanced agrovoltaic system in the livestock sector with monocrystalline silicon modules on single-axis rotating structures 1P
In the agricultural context of the Viguzzolo area, in the province of Alessandria, the idea was born to design an agrivoltaic plant in the zootechnical field, called Viguzzolo, conceived to integrate with the existing rural landscape. The project involves agricultural areas intended for grazing and the management of sheep farms, promoting a multifunctional and sustainable use of the land.
Our activity concerns the integrated engineering design of the plant: photovoltaic structures raised from the ground, designed to allow sheep grazing and guarantee animal welfare, while ensuring efficient production of renewable energy. The agrivoltaic approach makes it possible to combine livestock farming with energy generation, fostering a balance between production, environmental and landscape needs.
The main characteristics of the agrovoltaic system are:
POWER: 23,04 MWp
STRUCTURES: single-axis rotating 1P
BREEDING: sheep
EXPECTED PRODUCIBILITY: 38.988.000 kWh/anno
POTENTIALLY AVOIDABLE EMISSIONS: 10.386,38 ton/anno di CO2
